This week saw the end of our piloted Upcycled sewing class at Rathbone's TOPS Programme.
We took six Mums and a whole bunch of shrunken jumpers and blankets, put them in a room together and let magic happen !
Shirley Maclauchlan was on hand to share her decorative embroidery techniques. Whilst I focused on the final product, the drafting of patterns and planning the makes. We used the Love Your Clothes Campaign to share advice and tips on making the most of your clothing whilst saving the planet at the same time !
